Garlic Roasted Broccoli with Dill Harissa Tahini and Raisins

Description

This Garlic Roasted Broccoli with Dill Harissa Tahini and Raisins is the best side dish for any meal! Roast broccoli in the oven with avocado oil and garlic, then toss with fresh dill and raisins in a harissa tahini dressing. You can enjoy this quick and easy broccoli recipe warm or cold!


Ingredients

  • 18 ounces fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup avocado oil
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill

Harissa Tahini Sauce

  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon harissa spice*
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 45 tablespoons water, to thin

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

    In a large bowl, toss the broccoli with the avocado oil and garlic, then spread it in a single layer onto the lined baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, tossing occassionally.

    Meanwhile, blend all of the sauce ingredients until smooth.

    Mince the dill.

    Add the roasted broccoli back into the large bowl, add the sauce, raisins, and dill, and toss to combine. Be sure to coat all of the broccoli with the sauce.

    Enjoy right away, at room temperature or cover and chill and enjoy cold!

Notes

* If you can't find harissa spice, you can easily make your own at home. I made my own harissa spice blend in THIS RECIPE
