Description
This easy dairy-free Pina Colada Smoothie is made with just 5 simple ingredients and is ready to enjoy in under 10 minutes! Simply blend together coconut milk, frozen pineapple, a frozen banana, pure vanilla extract, and pineapple juice for the perfectly smooth summer tropical smoothie!
Ingredients
- 1 can lite coconut milk
- 1 large banana, frozen
- 2 cups frozen pineapple
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup pineapple juice (preferably NOT from concentrate)
Instructions
Add all of the ingredients into a blender, starting with the coconut milk, and blend until smooth and creamy.
Notes
🍌 Make sure you freeze a banana the day before. I always keep a bag of frozen bananas, peeled and split in half, in my freezer for smoothies and nice cream! Frozen bananas make summer frozen treats so creamy!
🥛 Put the coconut milk into the blender first. This will help keep the smoothie from getting stuck, and blending more smoothly.
🍹 While I think this smoothie is fantastic as a breakfast smoothie, you could swap out the pineapple juice for rum and make this as a nightly cocktail (or just keep the pineapple juice and enjoy it as a virgin pina colada 😉).
