These Spirulina Pumpkin Seed Chocolate Chip Bites are the answer! Made with spirulina powder, pumpkin seed meal and naturally sweetened with maple syrup, they're the ultimate superfood-packed treat that will give you the energy you need to power through your day.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups pumpkin seed meal/flour
- 1 scoop (about 1/2 teaspoon) spirulina powder
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (or other nut/seed butter)
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup maple/agave syrup
- 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (mini)
Instructions
In a large bowl add all of the ingredients and stir together to form a cookie dough. Using ½ tablespoon, scoop the batter and roll into balls. Store covered in the fridge.
Notes
* You can use blue or green spirulina. I used blue.
